EXPORTING EXPERTISE AND VALUES

Our international journey began in the early 2000s with a joint venture with Auchan International in Poland. This collaboration was a valuable learning experience, allowing us to share our retail and commercial management expertise while adapting to local market dynamics.
In 2013, we took a major step forward by launching our bi1 brand in Poland.

Always alert to new opportunities, we continued our expansion towards Central Asia with the creation of the first distribution network in Tajikistan and the opening of the first hypermarket in Dushanbe in 2016. Then in 2021, we extended our expertise to Uzbekistan with the opening of a network of bi1 mini-markets.

Since 2025 in Central Asia, we have been working with local players to continue modernising distribution channels and ensuring food security in local markets. Our expertise is being exported to serve a common ambition: to offer safe, high-quality food to as many people as possible, enabling everyone to consume better and eat well, while contributing to the development of responsible and sustainable distribution in these regions.
