YOUR CAREER AT SCHIEVER

At Schiever, recruitment is a commitment to a lasting relationship, grounded in our values of independence, energy, and respect. Since 2014, we have established a recruitment charter shared across all our brands to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for every candidate.

Applying at Schiever
A CLEAR AND FAIR RECRUITMENT PROCESS

We guarantee a transparent recruitment process based on equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

Every application is carefully reviewed, with candidates receiving a response within 15 days. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a first interview with our recruitment team, followed, if successful, by a second interview with the relevant manager. Once the final decision is made, a job offer is extended.

This process allows both sides to better understand each other and assess the match between skills and the position offered.

Thriving in the workplace
BALANCING PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL LIFE AT SCHIEVER

We are committed to promoting well-being at work by helping our employees better balance professional and personal life. To support this, we have implemented several initiatives:

  • Fixed work schedules year-round in our warehouses to minimize alternating shifts and night work.
  • A “chosen time” system for office staff, offering greater flexibility.

Since 2020, eligible head office employees can benefit from up to two days of remote work, with dedicated training for employees and managers to maintain team cohesion.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a respectful work environment that fosters personal fulfillment and collective performance.

Training
DEVELOPING SKILLS TO GROW TOGETHER

Training is a key lever for professional development and aligning employees’ skills with job requirements. We support each employee in building their skills to:

  • Boost motivation
  • Promote internal career growth
  • Adapt to market changes

Our decentralized training policy in France and Poland allows programs to be tailored to local needs and strategic objectives. Our internal training department, certified
Qualiopi
, develops a comprehensive, high-quality catalog.

Every year, skills development plans are implemented in each of our business lines for our various professions (traditional professions, management, administration, etc.).
Skills development plans and mandatory trainings (safety, regulatory updates, environmental standards) are implemented throughout the year.

Internal Mobility
A LEVER TO ADVANCE YOUR CAREER

We believe in the value of diverse career paths. With numerous stores, logistics hubs, support functions, and international locations, internal mobility opportunities abound, through promotion or career transition.

To support this commitment, we have strengthened our mobility policy by:

  • Identifying employees’ career aspirations.
  • Assisting managers in spotting talent.
  • Sharing all career opportunities internally.

In Tajikistan, 75% of management positions are targeted to be filled internally, reflecting our commitment to building future success together.

Promoting Equality
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING AT WORK

We make professional equality a concrete commitment. Gender diversity is a key performance driver, and men and women are offered equal opportunities in recruitment, training, and career progression.

Designated representatives address gender-based and sexual harassment, and prevention campaigns and public health initiatives are run throughout the year.

We believe that sport is a powerful force for cohesion, personal achievement and well-being. That is why we encourage our teams to participate in sporting activities throughout the year. We organise group challenges, fund participation in charity races and our employees also rally around exceptional challenges:

  • In 2023, an international Schiever team participated in the Marathon des Sables.
  • In the same year, our logistics manager took part in the Race Across America, supported by a support team made up of Schiever employees.
  • In 2024 and 2025, teams will participate in the Avallon charity walk “Le Grand Huit” (135 km), raising funds for local charities.
