Schiever is a family-owned retail group, passed down from generation to generation.
Its stable shareholding, strong local roots, and the distinctive vision of its leadership team enable the Group to continue growing independently.

Real Estate Management

Our in-house real estate team manages all the Group’s properties. Its mission is to design and maintain vibrant spaces that reflect our customers’ shopping habits.
Our experts also work to preserve our real estate assets, modernize retail spaces, and improve the energy efficiency of our buildings.
This in-house expertise is a key contributor to the Group’s independence.

WE ARE WHOLESALERS

From Wholesaler to Local Retail

Schiever began as a wholesaler in 1871, supplying wine and spirits to shops in the Morvan region.
That wholesale DNA lives on: today, we supply food products to nearly 250 independent convenience stores.
Half of these deliveries are made to our own brand, Proximarché.

We build long-term relationships with these retailers and actively support the opening of new stores.

Logistics Experts

In France, we operate an integrated truck fleet serving both our own warehouses and those of the Coopérative U.
In Poland, our bi1 and Auchan hypermarkets are supplied from the Auchan Retail warehouse.

In Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, we have developed our own logistics platforms, allowing us to supply our local stores and export our brands from Uzbekistan to Tajikistan.

WE ARE MULTILINGUAL

Rooted Internationally

Schiever began its international journey in 2001 with the opening of its first Auchan hypermarket in Poland. Tajikistan and Uzbekistan joined The Schiever Tribe in 2016 and 2021, respectively.
Building on its expertise, Schiever now relies on local partners to modernize retail distribution in these Central Asian markets and contribute to food security for local communities.
