Created by the Schiever Group in 1976, Maximarché was built on a clear ambition: to curb commercial migration to larger cities by bringing convenient access to daily essentials in rural areas.
Located in the heart of local communities, these 300 to 900 m² stores offer a wide range of fresh and affordable products, staying true to their original slogan: “Maximarché — low prices, with extra freshness!”
As of 2024, the network includes 19 stores, mainly located in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Among them, 12 are operated directly by Schiever and 8 are run by our franchise partners. The brand complements our bi1 supermarket network, ensuring a broad retail presence essential for some remote areas
