Schiever Group acquires 31 Intersport stores
Vincent PICQ, Chairman and CEO of the Schiever Group, is diversifying into the world of sports with the acquisition of the Tousport stores.
This acquisition reflects the Group’s commitment to healthy eating (bi1) and well-being at home (Holi, Weldom, Bricoman). The company continues in this vein, taking sport as a determining factor in personal well-being.
This project will enable Schiever to expand into dynamic new regions: Brittany and Normandy, where the Tousport group’s 31 stores are located.
Tousport, a family-owned group and member of the Intersport cooperative
The Tousport group generates sales of 225 million euros and employs over 900 people, who will be joining our workforce in March 2024.
Jacky RIHOUET, CEO of Intersport since 2010 and head of Tousport, is selling all his stores in north-west France (Manche, Normandy) to the Schiever Group. By handing over to the Schiever group, which shares the same values of dynamism and energy, Mr RIHOUET intends to preserve the unity and sustain the development of the company he has been running since 1992.
